“What do you seen when you reach the top of a mountain? The next peak you have to climb. Don't be surprised or discouraged, that is the eb and flow of life and the rhythm of nature, expect it. ” 

With 107 degree heat here in TX I have been longing for the mountains. There is something that draws creativity when I am subjected to the grand scape of nature and am reminded of my finite existence in the grand scheme of things. I am humbled when I am reminded that the world will still spin whether I am here or not, the sun will rise and set, the starts remain hung in place and my heartbeat is merely a tiny vibration on a rock in space, 1 in 7 billion. 

I will be heading to Colorado for a few days, alone. I have done this before and do not mind solidarity as it gives me the opportunity to observe, truly listen and be free from any pressures of schedule and social pressures. You hear so much in absolute silence. When isolated in nature for even a few days or even hours you are faced with who you really are, what you stand for, what you are afraid of, what you want, what you love, who you love, what you need and what you can do without.  This is something I feel every person should consistently revisit.
